STUDIO SERVICE

Everything is designed and printed at the Mill, which gives us a great deal of flexibility when it comes to making fabrics and wallpapers feel entirely specific to a project.

A design might be recoloured to sit better within a room, printed on a different cloth, enlarged in scale, or turned from a wallpaper into a fabric and vice versa. We can also create wallpapers as full-height panels, railroad fabrics for large headboards, and print onto specialist grounds for contract and hospitality projects.

    One of the advantages of printing to order is the ability to print designs on different cloths to suit a particular purpose, handle or budget.

    Some designs become softer and more relaxed on linen, others sharper and more formal. It is usually worth exploring the options properly. 

    RAILROADING FARBIC

    Fabric description


     

    This is when we can print a fabric so that the pattern runs sideways along the length of fabric, rather than the usual up and down a roll.

    The perfect solution when you have a lot of bedheads to cover for a hospitality project.

    Saves on quantity and gives a seamless result.

    The only restriction is the width of the ground cloth, because this will determine the maximum height we can print pattern for a bedhead. 

    FIRE TREATMENTS FOR CONTRACT ORDERS

    FR POLYESTER


    It is now possible to print our designs on fire resistant FR Polyester.

    Useful for curtains and bedheads on large contract projects.

    FIRE RETARDANT COATING


    Any of our fabrics can be coated with fire retardant by Euroflam to one of the following three specifications:

    • Domestic Upholstery
    • Contract Upholstery
    • Contract Curtains

    PANEL PRINTING

    We can turn any of our wide width wallpapers into panels - printed to the height of your wall - at no extra charge.

    • easy for your installer who just unrolls and hang
    • no difficult layout calculations or cutting on site
    • minimum wastage, particularly on straight repeat
    • your installer will love you


    POMEGRANATE FRESCO is an example of a straight repeat where all panels will be identical.


    ADAM’S EDEN is a half drop repeat so panels will come as alternating A and B panels.

    ARCHIVE SERVICE

    All designs in the Archive are patterns from our past; once discontinued but now given new life thanks to the wonders of digital printing.

    This service is solely available to account customers through the private Trade Area of our website.
