Hawaiian Quilt is based on a 19th-century quilt held in the American Museum in Bath. The original would have been made using a classic appliqué technique, where the top fabric is folded in four, then the shape cut out through all four layers, giving a star formation when unfolded. Then all raw edges folded under and stitched down.
This Quilt panel comes as a printed piece with a hem allowance (5cm/1 3/4") on all four sides, for final finishing by the customer.
Hawaiian Quilt comes in one size only.
