Palampore A/W18
The inspiration for this new collection was drawn from an 18th century Palampore quilt found in the V&A.
A feast of beautifully drawn flowers, fruits and foliage this precious piece of workmanship was created on the Coromandel Coast of India using imagery adapted for the European market - and was eventually owned by G.P. Baker who donated it to the V&A the year before he died in 1951.
